Forest Barn House is situated at height of 4600 ft above sea level amidst a private forest acreage of oaks and other fruit trees. Sattal, as the name suggests is a group of 7 interconnected fresh water lakes in the lower Himalayan range.
The region is home to 500 species of resident and migratory birds, which is heaven for birdwatchers & wildlife photographers. Sattal is also one of the few unspoiled & unpolluted freshwater biomes in India .
Adjoining the Forest Barn House is the Sattal christian ashram founded by Stanley Jones (1884-1973), which was a former tea plantation during the British Era.

THE
Forest Barn House is a three bed room villa with a courtyard cabana attached to a fully equipped kitchen & dining. The home comes with an in House Chef. The villa is located on a private estate surrounded by a massive reserved forest of Banj Oak trees.
A forest road leads to our estate which is well connected to the towns amenities and activities which the guests may prefer to choose. We identify as a home which is open to limited guests who choose off beat holiday experiences and relish privacy from the crowds.

Our 2 Master Suites, come with a seamless lounge, bed & bath experience with a verandah outside overlooking the property. Our Cozy room on the ground floor is easily accessible for all age groups.

In-house Chef: Trained in Indian, Continental, Italian & Local cuisines. With this flexibility, we prefer to give our guests curated meals which they can order before checking in the villa.
Fully equipped kitchen: We provide amenities where the guests can enjoy the pleasure of cooking in the presence of our Chef.
Complimentary goodies: The home comes with groceries stacked for you, unlimited water bottles infused with herbs, which the guests do not have to pay for. Whats in the house, is on the house.
